Mom and Dad packed up the Jeep and we headed south to visit Aunt Jean, Uncle Gary and Maggie in West Virginia. Aunt Bette and Uncle Dave came down for a visit too. I had a lot of fun hanging out with everyone and exploring new territory. There is a saying that "children should be seen and not heard", being the rebellious guy that I am I decided to reverse that to "children should be heard and not seen" and so I was kind enough to wake up everyone up around 4:30 Sunday morning with some screaming and crying. Nobody saw me, but they definitely heard me. Mom had insomnia so I think she was glad to have my company at that time of the morning. I'm such a thoughtful guy aren't I?
Aunt Jean and Uncle Gary have a beautiful house with this great deck that overlooks the golf course.
I spent a lot of time on the deck hanging out with the family and pushing my truck around.
Check out my new sneakers I got this weekend. I have been walking around some and Mom said I needed some shoes for the outside. Aunt Jean and Uncle Gary gave me this cool wooden grasshopper pull toy-Thank you! I like to put it inside my truck and push it around.
When we entered West Virginia there was a sign that read "West Virginia - Wild and Wonderful". Boy were they right, check out this bear that wanted in on our picture! Just kidding...we stopped at the Cabela's store on the way home. I was wearing my camo overalls so I fit right in!

I was totally so confused when I first clicked on your blog! I was like, wait, those are my parents, their dog, not my kid!! Jack just is too cute! Happy early birthday! :)
